Client Challenge
A global elevator brand was keen to work with its HiPo employees in order to prepare a developmental track for them and prepare them for future roles. Most employees belonged to functions like Sales, Service and Installation. They hailed from various parts of the country with varied backgrounds and experiences.
Gemba’s Solution
Gemba worked on a customised solution to build a Development Centre that assessed competencies of the target audience. The process also involved validating the findings of the development centre with the immediate bosses of the participants. Based on results from the assessment, individual career development reports were generated and their readiness for the next position were mapped. The HR was also recommended to follow up regularly on the development actions with the individual and reporting managers. The exercise gained a high level of traction internally making the HiPo program a success.
