A startup focussed on ethnic fashion e-commerce approached Gemba with a requirement to launch itself successfully in the Indian market. The brand aspired to sell expensive products online contrary to the practice of selling low cost and hassle free ready made apparel. Gemba was also expected to carry out Market research to validate the scope of venturing in to this space.
Gemba’s Solution
Gemba carried out extensive market research across India to study consumer behaviour online and offline. The result was a recommendation in change of the business model and value creation mechanism. The assignment also involved building the technology arm of the startup. We are currently in the process of creating market strategy for the startup to expand in South India followed by creating foot prints across the country. Gemba is currently providing the organization a host of other services like hiring right talent, efficiently on boarding them, on the job training and other services focused on improving employee efficiency.
